When I made the booking I had the option to choose 2 single or 1 double. When we arrived we were told that the they only had a room with 2 single bed. We told them we had booked a double. They told me it was a preference but they could not deliver and unless I upgraded to a superior room. We tried to negotiate to get the upgrade free of charge because they could not deliver the room we had booked as we had booked them (with a double bed). However we kept being told it was a preference and that they were sorry they didn't have a double bed one. Being tired we didn't feel like shopping around and settled for the upgrade. But not happy about this. I guess next time where there are options I will negotiate beforehand on what happens if the option is not available. I found the "preference" discussion a weak point to be honest and a not customer friendly way to force an upgrade.
