Currently, Dell Protected Workspace is not compatible with Windows 10, so users may experience some issues after the upgrade from Windows 7 or 8.1 where Protected Workspace was installed before the upgrade to Windows 10.
Protected Workspace is designed to run in the background on a Windows 10 system and monitor for updates, so that once a compatible version is available, the system will upgrade Protected Workspace so that the protections it offers can be re-enabled. In order for this feature to function, users must be running Protected Workspace version 5.0.0-20959 or later.
The following sections outline steps that can be taken if issues arise with Protected Workspace after upgrading to Windows 10, such as not being able to browse or open previously protected document applications.
