Q1: When MEVN can import a unit which has current certification by TCVN7830-2012, until?
A: MEVN can import it until approved certificate is expired, whatever expired date is after Jan 1st, 2017.
For example: Model A is approved E/L by TCVN7830-2012. The expired date of this approval is July 1st, 2017 ==> MEVN can import model A until July 1st, 2017 without testing again by TCVN7830-2015.
Q2: When MEVN can sell a unit which has current certification by TCVN7830-2012, until?
A: Same as Q1 above, MEVN can sell it until approved certificate is expired, whatever expired date is after Jan 1st, 2017.
Q3: When MEVN can start to get a new certification by TCVN7830-2015, from?
A:
* For current models: we will not need renew certificate from TCVN7830-2012 to TCVN7830-2015. Models which are expired in near future (even next year), we will apply TCVN7830-2012 certificate extension if we keep selling (import/sell) those models.
For example: Model B is approved E/L by TCVN7830-2012, the expired date of this approval is Dec 29th, 2016. Before expired date, we will send extension application to MOIT. MOIT will approve extension to Dec **, 2017.
* For new models:
- for new models that are registered E/L after Jan 1st, 2017, of course, they must be applied certification by TCVN7830-2015.
- for new models that are registered E/L from now until Dec 31st, 2016, there are 2 choices:
(1). Testing and registering by TCVN7830-2012: It should OK because TCVN7830-2012 is valid until Dec 31st, 2016.
(2). Testing and registering by TCVN7830-2015: It also OK as voluntary basis. Daikin has already applied some models by this new standard.
