Jungheinrich is showcasing its all-new compact mast before an international audience of specialists at the world’s leading fair for intralogistics (CeMAT 2014) in Hanover, Germany. “This will substantially improve driver visibility for Jungheinrich counterbalanced trucks,” remarks Stefan Pfetsch, Head of Counterbalanced Truck Product and Portfolio Management at Jungheinrich.
Nested profiles and the placement of the chains and hoses behind them, plus a substantially more compact reach mast and two openings in the cross-bar have significantly widened the driver’s field of visibility – by as much as 85%. As Stefan Pfetsch puts it: “This gives the driver an even better all-around view than the already excellent ‘through-the-mast’ view in earlier Jungheinrich forklifts!” The new compact mast will be implemented in the majority of Jungheinrich counterbalanced trucks as of spring 2014.
Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, logistics systems, services and advice.
