The job script will have to explicitly use $QSUB_BB_DIR to access IME storage
The per job monitoring will only check usage in the job IME sandbox directories
IME is a global filesystem that does not provide access controls or restrictions
IME will not stop jobs writing anywhere in the IME filesystem
If a job creates data outside the sandbox directory $QSUB_BB_DIR
The periodic hook will not be able to monitor used capacity
The end hook will not be able to delete any data outside $QSUB_BB_DIR because the hook will not be aware of its existence
