Pedagogues worked with animators and teachers to develop the curricula and classes, including the environment where the activities took place.Animation, filmmaking theory and drama exercises complemented the education with fieldwork practice, teaching children and young students how to communicate through animation. Some of the case studies involved refugees, children with special needs, and young demotivated students which challenge the practice. Nevertheless the results were positive as relationships were happening between students and teachers/artists in practice. Some students informed the lab about their post education and practice using animation in social change subjects in their communities, museums, mental health field, activism, art events and education.
