Denpasar, Indonesia, Feb. 18 (Jiji Press)--The body of a Japanese female diver who had been missing off Bali, Indonesia, was found near the resort island on Tuesday afternoon, local search and rescue authorities said the same day.
The body was identified as Ritsuko Miyata, 59, after being taken to a hospital in Denpasar, according to the authorities.
Rescuers said the body was found at around 6:10 p.m. local time off the Serangan island near Sanur, southern Bali. It was wearing scuba diving gear.
Seven Japanese women went missing on Friday while diving some 35 kilometers east of where Miyata's body was discovered, and five of them were rescued on Monday.
